Private house in Malakhovka village
The variety of building's elevations reflects the attempt to articulate as much different functions of each room as possible.
read-about-project
The interaction of different forms, which have a common line in their base, gives rise to many associations: scales, slate, cockleshells, the Sydney opera...Beginning practically in forest, the suite of rooms gradually twists in a spiral and leads to a cozy courtyard in the centre of house. The nature seems to be both outside and inside, and its perception is emphasized by the unique storefronts, which design doesn't include the imposts.
