Preobrazheniye residential complex at Tumensky proezd
Today the site of the “Preobrazheniye” residential complex is mainly surrounded by outdated 1960’s architecture and numerous industrial enterprises. Nevertheless, the territory presents great potential for development with good transport network access and a future of becoming one of Moscow’s most lively and contemporary neighbourhoods.

The four towers in the 1st line of the complex are to form the new urban square for the area at the crossing of Otkrytoye highway and the soon to be extended Rokossovsky boulevard. Overlooking the square, the towers present a dynamic and complex structure composed of equally massed forms built into a single framework of shapes. Whereas the side profiles are conceived as artful panels decorated with exquisite ornamentation. The colour scheme is comprised of neutral and natural hues, with bright elements (one at each tower) styling unique appearance of the complex. The orientation of the blocks allows the courtyards to be constantly illuminated by the sun. Actively utilized ground floor stylobates make up cosy internal courtyards closed off from the surrounding roads, three of which are completely pedestrian. Furthermore, the main square of the neighbourhood acts as a centre for communal life, where the residents can come together to socialise and relax in one of the many cafes, shops and other entertainment venues located on the ground floor of the plaza. Moreover, in the central building of the complex there is a kindergarten designed for 85 students.
