Symbol residential complex on the renovated Serp i Molot plant's territory
Symbol residential complex is located on the former territory of the Sickle and Hammer industrial complex, which occupied an area of 60 hectares. ATRIUM designed five residential buildings, a pedestrian and road bridge, a park and landscaping in the heart of the new complex. Thanks to its modern architecture and high-quality infrastructure with public spaces, green areas and a lot of entertainment, the quarter has become a point of attraction and created conditions for a new way of life. The public received opportunities, unusual for city residents, to work in open air spaces and relax in the courtyard.
read-about-project
The Green River Park is located in the very center of the residential block - all walking routes pass through it. And the buildings around the park are revealed in a new way from every angle. All of this creates an interesting experience that attracts people to the area for walking and socializing. Despite the complex shape of the buildings, they managed to accommodate many different types of apartments - from small studios to penthouses overlooking the Kremlin. We managed to include large windows in all apartments. The lower floors of the buildings are given over to retail and social infrastructure. And the interiors of the halls were done in a natural and calm design, built on smooth lines.
The renovation master plan is based on a proposal created by LDA Design and UHA, which won the competition in 2014. Now ATRIUM is designing new residential buildings, a school, a kindergarten and an extension of the park.
