ATRIUM developed the competition concept for a Celebration Palace in the urban district of Shakhovskaya, Moscow Region. The project proposes a new type of public space for wedding ceremonies, family celebrations and civic rituals — a light, open and memorable architectural image embedded within its natural and urban context.

The concept of the Celebration Palace is based on the idea of a sequential spatial scenario. The architecture shapes a coherent route: from arrival and a walk through the site to the ceremonial event itself, the photo session and the continuation of the celebration.

The building is conceived as a plastic volume with an expressive circular composition. Its soft geometry, white surfaces, colonnade and deep canopies create the image of a light pavilion open to the surrounding landscape.

The project’s key element is the inner courtyard. It becomes the intimate centre of the building and, at the same time, a continuation of the ceremonial route. It can accommodate photo sessions, the gathering of guests, informal communication and additional festive scenarios. This solution makes it possible to unite the interior, exterior and landscape design into a single spatial system.
